Real Madrid Home Shirt 2009/10

This shirt I managed to find on eBay for less than £15 and it's 100% authentic Adidas. This shirt is a historic one since it saw the arrival of the new galacticos - Raul Albiol, Xabi Alonso, Karim Benzema, Kaka and of course Cristiano Ronaldo. Mine has the name of one of my favourite players on the back - Sergio Ramos, although for some reason there is no number 4. It also has the Santiago Bernabeu logo on the chest which is the initials ESB in the shape of the Bernabeu stadium.

Liverpool Third Shirt 2011/12

Here is the last ever Adidas Liverpool shirt which proved controversial due to the blue details. I really like it and it was the shirt I wanted for my birthday last year. I got it for £30 on eBay but it took ages to arrive and I didn't get it on time. I don't think it's genuine adidas. It looks and feels real but the hologram looks fake. The size is in Chinese so that makes me even more skeptical. Like most good fakes though, you can't tell and it's one of my favourites.

Portugal Ronaldo Supporters Shirt

It's not really a football shirt but it is a good collector's item. I think it's from the 2010 world cup as I bought it on sale in Manchester from the Nike shop last summer. I'm a Ronaldo fan and it's a nice shirt as well so I was happy to pick this up for just £10.

Liverpool Home Kit 2010/12

I got this shirt for my 14th birthday with my name on the back. I felt compelled to get premier league patches due to the huge gaps on the arms. It's a brilliant shirt and you can tell I wear it a lot because it's covered with snags.

Santos FC Home Shorts 2011/12

Unfortunately I don't have the shirt to match but here are the Santos FC shorts from last season with number 11 for Neymar Jr. I don't know how authentic they are but they were only a few quid.

Brazil Home Shirt 2006/08

Probably the best Brazil shirt of the last decade and a brilliant design from Nike. It's another one from when I was young but I still wear it since it fits me well still. It was worn at the 2006 world cup which was the last major international tournament of the legendary Ronaldo and Ronaldinho although the most popular and talented player in the squad at the time was Kaka. The material is really nice and it's a great shirt to wear.

Liverpool Home Shirt 2006/08

This is one of the rare survivors of the load of football shirts my mum got rid of from when I was a kid. It's probably most remembered for being the shirt Liverpool lost the 2007 Champions League final in and won the Community Shield in. As you can see it has my name and age at the time on the back in the old premier league style printing, but the idiot who printed my shirt at JJB obviously left a hair under the print as you can see in the picture.

Formotion Training Shirt

This isn't really a football shirt as such but I wanted to share it just to say that Formotion technology really works! It was free with my Liverpool 09/10 third shirt at the JJB closing down sale and yeah, it's boss.

Real Madrid Away Shirt 2010/11

Surprisingly this shirt is authentic and only cost £10 despite having the name of Kaka on the back. The only reason it was so cheap was due to the colour of the shirt running into the number but this has faded with every wash so it really was a bargain.

Real Madrid Home Shirt 2010/11

I don't think it's authentic but I still love this shirt from the season when Real Madrid won the Copa Del Rey thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo Goal against Barcelona.

Liverpool Away Shirt 2011/12

I love this shirt although it looks much nicer on the pitch than on fans. It's a large ladies which is basically a small mans size. Adidas' ladies designs for Liverpool were really disappointing for me because for Real Madrid they make the shirts in a really nice feminine cut, but for the Liverpool ones the badge & sponsor is smaller than the mens and that's the only major difference. The clima cool logo is really small which is strange since on every other Adidas ladies shirt I have, it's a normal size. I preordered this from Liverpool's website and got the brand new LFC Suarez printing. I like the design of the print but as soon as I got it, the bottom of the 7 was already peeling a little. It's a really good shirt and one of the best in the world last season.

Real Madrid Away Shirt 2011/12

Bought with the last shirt I posted. I hoped it was real but it's not. The material is a bit thin and although it's marked as a medium, it's snug on me and I usually wear small. The Benzema print is a lot shinier and cheap than the official version. It's still a nice shirt though.

Real Madrid Long Sleeve Home 2011/12

Real Madrid didn't produce any long sleeve shirts last season, I don't know why, because the player issue versions could have long sleeves. I really wanted the shirt with long sleeves though so spent ages scouring eBay for one. I came across this one for sale with a Benzema away shirt for £40. I thought they might be genuine for that price. They're not but you can't really tell. The collar on this is less stiff than the genuine one, the badge and bwin are a slightly different material and the stripes are a bit more brown.

Real Madrid Third Shirt 2011/12

I don't know how official this is but I'm leaning towards fake because everything off it has peeled, the patches faded after 1 wash and the adidas hologram, like most fakes, is very pressed in, bent upwards around the edges and doesn't glisten in the light with different colours. I really wanted this when it came out because it looks like a Liverpool shirt and I like Real Madrid so it was a must have. It was about £30 on eBay from an English seller so I assumed it was real. The bwin logo was very shiny and thick unlike on my official home shirt so when it started to crack and split again and again I gave up and peeled it all off. It looks like a rare sponsorless shirt though now and I don't think anyone likes the bwin logo so it's all good.

Some Random Mexico Shirt

My Auntie picked this up for me on holiday in Mexico about 7/8 years ago. I doubt it's official, despite being plastered with 'autentica' all over. I know there's a brand called Copa that makes football kits but I don't think they've ever produced Mexico's shirts. The washing label says RALY sport. Although it's too small for me now, and probably just a fan shirt, I like it a lot and I haven't seen any like it so I wanted to share it.

Spain Away Shirt 2010

Looks great on a picture doesn't it? Looks really nice in fact. Well it's not. I was browsing eBay and came across this on a bid and thought I'd got a bargain at £8. It had the world cup winning gold star on it, as well as the name of the legendary David Villa so I thought it must be rare! I was horrified when it arrived. It stank of fake shirt smell, the material was bobbled all over, the stitching was coming apart, the printing was cracked all over and the adidas logo and star were a cheap vinyl material - not stitched in. But the most disgusting thing about this shirt is the adidas hologram. Most fakes at least try to make it look real. Not this one. I will never ever wear this horror, but it's one for the collection I guess.

Liverpool Third Shirt 2009/10

The last season of Rafa and the last season of Carlsberg. I managed to pick this up in JJB's closing down sale for a mere £5. It's a size too big for me, a mens medium, but come on, a fiver. It's a really fresh design but I'm not a fan of how the entire back is made from some sort of mesh.

Real Madrid Home Shirt 2011/12

This is in my opinion one of the best Real Madrid shirts. They are one of the only teams who should have gold on their shirts due to their immense history as the most successful team in Europe. Chelsea, who designed their gold detailed kit BEFORE they even won a Champions League should take note. The shirt is a ladies 14, hence the cut and the shorter arms with no room for any patches. The most noteworthy detail is the plastic badge and 'RM' pressed into the back of the collar.
