Liverpool Away Shirt 2010/11

As you can see, this is Liverpool's Adidas away shirt from the 2010/11 campaign, the season that saw the disastrous six month reign of Roy Hodgson and the exit of Fernando Torres, but also saw the arrival of the legendary Kenny Dalglish and his record signings, Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez. The season won't be remembered as anything special from Liverpool's point of view, but this shirt is one of my favourites. I managed to pick this up on eBay for about £13, which was a bargain despite it being midseason so the shirt was half way through it's tenure. On the other hand, DW Sports charged me more than the cost of the shirt for the Agger 5 premier league vinyl printing, which is disgraceful, but hey, it's Danny Agger! I decided against premier league patches for this one, I think they can ruin the simplicity of a shirt. The shirt itself has the 10/11 season Adidas collar/stripe template similar to the Chelsea one of that season and the design is really unique and a nice nod to the classic pinstriped LFC shirts of the past.
